What’s Yours is Yours

January 4th, 2010

Let's Talk This morning I received some news that left me feeling as if I’d been kicked in the stomach. Although a misunderstanding occurred, I didn’t know how to fix it. As a matter of fact, in my own strength I couldn’t fix it. I began praying about it and got the notion to call a partner ministry to pray the prayer of agreement with me. I knew what’s mine is mine.

I share this with you because sometimes we take the circumstances of life as another bump in the road. We too often succumb to situations as if they are merely a part of living. A win some, lose some attitude. But the Lord has promised that He would supply all of our need according to His riches in glory. Most often, we use that passage when seeking a financial need. But that passage says, He will supply ALL our need. All means All. Put that in the forefront of your thinking so it can wash away the thoughts of defeat that life wants to hand you.

I kept the thought of God’s grace and the knowing that He would workout this situation for me. I went to Him in faith, and kept expecting to receive a turnaround at any minute. Within two hours I received the turnaround that I was seeking. Because I turned my dilemma over to Him, I was no longer responsible for it.

How to Hold on to What’s Yours

1. Ask God for direction and His wisdom.
2. Shut out anxiety and panic.
3. Get quiet and wait for the answer.
4. Expect Him to answer you.
5. Whatever He tells you to do, do it!

Be encouraged today to receive the divine supply of His love, mercy, grace, protection, peace, joy, healing and deliverance from thoughts that life can hand you what it wants you to have. Dare to believe God for what He has promised to give you. Don’t allow circumstances and situations to defeat you, especially when there’s been a misunderstanding. Go to God today and discover what is yours.

I appreciate you taking the time to allow me to share with you. Allow this first work day of the year set the standard for what you endeavor the remaining days of 2010 to be. What’s yours is yours. Hold on to that.

Sharing my passion,

Deana

  1. Hi My Sister,
This was a very inspiring message from the “heart” of love. I am blessed to have it apart of my morning devotion. I thank God for allowing me to see the beauty that is inside of you coming out. I take your words as the “weight” of God’s glory and will keep them in my “heart” as I face new people, new challenges and new places and new things.
    Love U!
    Pat

Stay strong. The fight is fixed. We’ve already won. What’s yours is yours.
