DON’T BE A HYPOCRITE!

I am at the end of a four-part video series on How to Be Authentic and I am finishing up the last video this week. I will post the four videos here after I’ve completed the last one. Authenticity is very real and essential in my life as I had to overcome this disease of living behind a facade a.k.a. hypocrite.  I’ve learned some interesting points along the way. Successful living does require you to put your authentic life-voice forward. In doing so, however, I’ve learned several points that changed my life. I will share 4 of them here today.

1. Authenticity Must Stand Up to Pressure. When you are authentic, you remain true to yourself, to God and the biblical principles found in the Word of God. Don’t sway to cater to others’ opinions or discretions. When you hold your righteous resolve, you come out shining like pure gold. You won’t compromise no matter how much the heat is on.

2. Authenticity Will Make You Unpopular. I used to wonder why I felt isolated at times, seemingly far-away from others. And then I was awakened to the light of the situation. Know that making the right decision is not always easy or popular, but it is still right. Being authentic has less to do with your social status than it has to do with your core convictions.

3. Authenticity Will Stretch You. Personal development is one of my favorite studies. It stretches me. I learned that being authentic doesn’t license me to remain the same. I had to know when to hold them and when to fold them. There’s the need to adapt your leadership style to fit every situation. You have to know when to be inspiring and when to be tough. You may not be equally comfortable with all that you must do, but when you commit to being the best possible you, you in turn commit to being stretched.

4. Authenticity Will Reveal Your Flaws. People see your flaws sometimes before you are willing to admit them. When shortcomings are covered-up your authentic light-bulb goes out. The wise thing to do is to examined and expose your flaws before the light of God’s Word and get the help you need.

8. Get your confidence back – an improved image will give you confidence. When you look better, you feel better.

9. God is doing things in an unconventional way and we are about to enter a new realm.

10. Believe and you’ll see it. Expect the extraordinary.

11. Get up everyday believing. Enlarge your goals & dreams. Tap
into the “big” ideas from God.

12. Learn to be steadfast and unmovable for success. Winners never quit
and quitters never win.
