sharing my passion, peaceful living, peace at home, lifestyle designer

Meet Deana

Several years ago God gave Deana (pronounced Den-un-ah) a creative comparison of designing the places where we live to designing the places of our heart in a revelation that interior design is not limited to the physical realm. She discovered that interior design also carries the responsibility for every user’s emotional and spiritual well-being. Therefore, everyone should lead a peaceful lifestyle and continuously experience peace at home. Life at home, married life, and family relations should be rewarding and joyful experiences. What she did was trace design back to Biblical principles and found the answers there that she was seeking. To her amazement she was led to combine her passion for design and writing with her passion for the Word of God. Deana strongly believes that people can take their lives from chaos to order by simply changing their words. She now shares her passions with the world.

Deana believes the Bible is relevant to every area of our lives. As we design our homes, the design isn’t complete if we haven’t designed within because in the home we carry our thoughts, ideas, words, frustrations, attitudes, anger, fears, and concerns with the furnishings and fixtures. These intangible elements need a design makeover too if we want to experience peaceful living and peace at home.

Deana is an Award Winning Author, Lifestyle Designer, Speaker, Adjunct Instructor and Media Personality. Her work is published in several magazines and books, and she enjoys teaching design from the principles of the Bible so people can lead a rewarding life and experience peace of mind with peaceful living.

Deana’s undergraduate work at City University of New York at Brooklyn was Economics; her graduate work at Adelphi University in Garden City was Business Administration, and she also holds a degree in Interior Architecture and Design graduating magna cum laude from Northampton College. Deana is currently studying for a Doctorate in Theology at Chesapeake Bible College and Seminary in Ridley, Maryland.
